Fortune sticksLot 44 of 50Take care
A leak in the dry season
A warning, not a sentence. Wait, check, or change course.
The verse
A thin line of light through the tiles,
Too small to bother with while the sky is blue.
Climb up now with the ladder and the clay;
In the rains the ladder will be slippery.
What it means
A small problem that will not stay small. You know what it is: the odd noise in the car, the unanswered letter, the tension nobody mentions. The lot says to fix it while the weather is fine, because it is cheap now and expensive later.
What lot 44 says for
- Love
- The small thing you keep not saying. Say it this week, kindly, while things are calm.
- Work and study
- The process that nearly failed last time. Fix it before the busy season proves it.
- Money
- The subscription, the fee, the slow leak. Plug it now.
- Wellbeing
- The niggle you have been ignoring. Deal with it while it is a niggle.
- Home and travel
- Literal repairs. The roof, the damp patch, the lock that sticks.
Take away
Climb up while the sky is blue.

Drew this at a temple?
Temples use different sets, most of them a hundred lots, and ours is a set of fifty, so the verse on your slip will not match ours and the grade can differ. Treat the number as a fair guide if it is fifty or under, and read the verse on your slip first; the image on it is the real answer. Here is how to shake for yourself.
A stick is one question. Your chart is all of them.
