Snow on the mountain road

Neither for nor against. The outcome depends on what you do next.

The verse

Snow on the pass and the gate still far,
The horse is tired and the sky is grey.
Stop at the inn and warm your hands:
The road is the same tomorrow, and the snow is not.

What it means

A delay, not a dead end. What you want is still where it was; the path to it is blocked for a while. The lot tells you to wait somewhere warm rather than push through in bad conditions, because the conditions are the only thing that will change.

What lot 9 says for

Love: Someone needs time. Give it without a deadline.
Work and study: A project stalls for reasons outside you. Use the pause to prepare the next stage.
Money: Hold off on a big decision until the picture is clearer.
Wellbeing: Rest without guilt. Warmth, food and sleep are the whole prescription.
Home and travel: Postpone travel if you can. If you must go, allow twice the time.

Take away

Wait for the weather.

Drew this at a temple?

Temples use different sets, most of them a hundred lots, and ours is a set of fifty, so the verse on your slip will not match ours and the grade can differ. Treat the number as a fair guide if it is fifty or under, and read the verse on your slip first; the image on it is the real answer. Here is how to shake for yourself.

A stick is one question. Your chart is all of them.
