Sweeping the courtyard

Neither for nor against. The outcome depends on what you do next.

The verse

Leaves in every corner of the yard,
A broom, a morning, and no visitors yet.
Sweep it once, properly, to the gate,
And whoever comes will find it ready.

What it means

Clearing out. Before anything new can arrive there is old stuff in the way, and the lot asks you to deal with it: the unanswered messages, the drawer, the grudge, the subscriptions. Unglamorous, and the single most useful thing you can do this month.

What lot 31 says for

Love: Clear the air. One honest conversation sweeps a lot of leaves.
Work and study: Finish the loose ends before starting the new thing. Inbox, handovers, that document.
Money: Cancel what you do not use. Close the accounts you forgot.
Wellbeing: Tidy the space you sleep in. It is not nothing.
Home and travel: Declutter before you decorate. The room is bigger than you think.

Take away

Sweep to the gate.

Drew this at a temple?

Temples use different sets, most of them a hundred lots, and ours is a set of fifty, so the verse on your slip will not match ours and the grade can differ. Treat the number as a fair guide if it is fifty or under, and read the verse on your slip first; the image on it is the real answer. Here is how to shake for yourself.

A stick is one question. Your chart is all of them.
