The traveller's letter

Neither for nor against. The outcome depends on what you do next.

The verse

A letter from far away, sealed and waiting,
The rider dusty at the door.
Break the seal before you answer anyone;
What it says will change the question.

What it means

News is coming, and it matters. The lot says to wait for it before you decide anything, because the decision will look different once you have read it. It does not say whether the news is good; it says it is relevant, and that acting before it arrives wastes the action.

What lot 21 says for

Love: Someone has something to tell you. Let them, before you decide what you feel.
Work and study: A result, a reply or an announcement is due. Hold your plans until it lands.
Money: Wait for the statement, the quote or the offer in writing.
Wellbeing: Uncertainty is the strain, not the news itself. Do something with your hands while you wait.
Home and travel: Word from someone far away shapes a travel plan. Book after you hear.

Drew this at a temple?

Temples use different sets, most of them a hundred lots, and ours is a set of fifty, so the verse on your slip will not match ours and the grade can differ. Treat the number as a fair guide if it is fifty or under, and read the verse on your slip first; the image on it is the real answer. Here is how to shake for yourself.

A stick is one question. Your chart is all of them.
