Fortune sticksLot 19 of 50Take care
A tiger in the market
A warning, not a sentence. Wait, check, or change course.
The verse
Stalls and voices and the smell of oranges,
And something striped between the carts.
Not every smile at the market is a friend;
Keep your purse close and your word closer.
What it means
Something is off in an ordinary setting. The lot does not say you are in danger; it says that among the usual people and usual dealings there is one that is not what it seems. Be careful with strangers, with easy offers and with anything that asks you to decide quickly.
What lot 19 says for
- Love
- Someone new is charming and vague. Let time show you which.
- Work and study
- Read every clause. A deal that is pressing you to hurry is pressing you for a reason.
- Money
- No. Whatever it is that sounds too easy, no.
- Wellbeing
- Stress hides in plain sight. Notice what tightens your shoulders and step away from it.
- Home and travel
- Check references, read the contract, keep copies. Trust is earned this season.
Take away

Drew this at a temple?
Temples use different sets, most of them a hundred lots, and ours is a set of fifty, so the verse on your slip will not match ours and the grade can differ. Treat the number as a fair guide if it is fifty or under, and read the verse on your slip first; the image on it is the real answer. Here is how to shake for yourself.
A stick is one question. Your chart is all of them.
