Compatibility / Snake and Horse
Snake and Horse compatibility
Snake and Horse are neighbours on the zodiac circle, with no harmony or clash between them. The Snake is calm, private and deliberate; the Horse is open, energetic and quick to act. Each has something the other lacks, which is a gift or a frustration depending on how patient you both are.
The traditional rules say nothing special about these two signs: no harmony pulls them together and no clash pushes them apart. That leaves more room for the actual people than for the zodiac. Pairs like this often grow by learning each other's rhythm rather than sharing one from the start.
In love
Opposites in temperament rather than in the rules. The Horse admires the Snake's composure and the Snake enjoys the Horse's warmth. Jealousy can flare: the Snake likes to know where it stands, the Horse likes a long leash. Clear reassurance from the Horse and a little lightness from the Snake go a long way.
As friends
The Snake is the one the Horse comes to with a problem; the Horse is the one who gets the Snake out of the house. Different, and useful to each other.
At work
The Horse sells and the Snake strategises. A good pairing when there is a clear plan and the Snake is trusted with it. The Horse should not spring surprises on the Snake, and the Snake should share its thinking before it is finished.
One tip for this pair
Agree how much notice each of you needs before a change of plan, then stick to it.

- Wise
- Calm
- Intuitive
Snakes think before they act and trust their instincts. Elegant and private, they often see the bigger picture others miss.
